Video and Audio Production

This section showcases my work in audio and video production, highlighting my skills in storytelling, editing, and visual communication. I focus on creating engaging content from concept development to final edits. My goal is to align content with strategic goals. I make sure it resonates with target audiences. I use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition to enhance production quality and guarantee clear, compelling narratives. Each project reflects my ability to combine creativity with technical skill. It demonstrates my commitment to producing meaningful and impactful multimedia content.

Background : Liminal Girl is a student-led film project created at Canadore College, set during the COVID-19 pandemic. It follows a woman on a three-day journey through the wilderness. She aims to reunite with her isolated brother. During this time, she battles both external challenges and internal turmoil. The film captures the emotional and psychological weight of the pandemic era.

Role : I was part of the Post-Production team. I was specifically responsible for background editing. I handled Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) sessions and script confirmation. I collaborated with editors and directors to enhance the emotional tone and immersive quality of the film through audio.

Tools : Pro Tools software (for sound editing and design) and Field recordings and Foley techniques using ADR.

Skills : Sound recording, editing and mixing

Impact : My work helped create a powerful soundscape that deepened the audience’s emotional connection to the character’s journey. The project taught me the importance of sound in storytelling. It strengthened my technical abilities. It also enhanced my collaborative abilities in a professional post-production setting.

WAR

London Museum

Background : I created a vlog about the London Museum to highlight its exhibits, history, and behind-the-scenes operations. The project aimed to give viewers an engaging and informative experience. It encouraged more community interest. It also promoted visits to the museum.

Role : I took on the role of a content creator and video editor. I planned the vlog concept. I scripted interview questions. I conducted on-site filming. I interviewed museum staff. I edited the final video for upload.

Tools : DaVinci Resolve: Used for color correction and fine-tuning visual quality. Adobe Premiere Pro: Used for assembling clips, adding transitions, text overlays, and sound editing.

Skills : I developed skills in storytelling, interviewing, filming, and editing for this project. I planned the vlog narrative. I conducted staff interviews. I captured footage at the museum. I edited the video using DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. I also improved my communication and coordination skills through on-site work with museum staff.

Impact : The vlog provided viewers with an informative and engaging look inside the London Museum. It helped promote the museum’s exhibits and activities to a wider audience. Through this project, I managed to strengthen my skills in video production, storytelling, and communication. It also gave me valuable real-world experience in content creation and working with external organizations.
